    Open ‘Control Panel’.
    Click ‘System’.
    Click ‘ Advanced’.
    Click ‘Settings’ in the ‘Performance’ pane.
    Click ‘Visual Effects’.
    Check the box ‘Adjust for best performance’.
    Click ‘Apply’.
    Click ‘OK’.
    This will stop Windows looking pretty and improve your pc
    performance. 8)

    You got a graphics card morty or using onboard, as that will take up some stuff too
