Pb is not the abbreviation of it (although it looks like that for the uneducated and unwashed) but is the SYMBOL for this transitional element and, to strain your alcohol soaked brain a little further, Lead has the atomic number of 82 in the Periodic Table[/b]

Perhaps in idiomatic English but surely not in correct grammatical English. One would certainly never end a sentence with a preposition …. either.
