Dirty Munichs, scum…. just to name a few.
What is it about them that everyone loves to hate?
When Liverpool were winning everything in the Seventies and Eighties, no-one hated them. They were respected, even the Man Utd fans sang the Liverpool anthem at the 1977 FA cup final, cheering them on to the first of 5 European cups…
Personally I think it’s attitude… Man Utd don’t deserve to win, they expect it and when they don’t……
Mourhino has the same attitude at Chelsea…. he can’t give credit where credit is due and has to blame the world and it’s wife before he’ll admit Chelsea weren’t good enough.
Any other suggestions?
usualy because your jealous, and of course we expect to win, maybe with better players, liverpool might expect to win too
when liverpool were winning things, we did’nt have the multi million pound sky tv deal, we did’nt even have the premiership.. english football was’nt the best … teams were all made up of uk based players, the world changes, people change… a lot more money is in the game these days, we are talking of the days before DVD players, Microwave ovens, it really is that long ago. It does’nt matter what team is winning the prem, they will be hated because everyone deep in side is jelous of the big team, when chelsea first won the league everyone was chuffed it was’nt ars enal or united…. 2 years later, now everyone is chuffed its not chelsea.. its just a big round about, waiting for people to jump onto the band wagon
you have no respect for man united or chelsea, maybe this is the reason we don’t respect you… and don’t lie about it… 3 seasons ago, ask anyone who was’nt a liverpool fan, they wanted Everton to finish above you in the league and get the final european place,
your post just proves you have no respect, typical liverpool fan, thinking they invented the game and that only they have the bragging rights, everyone has the right to feel angry about losing as much as they have the right to celebrate winning
your time will come again, or it may not.. just enjoy the european cup final and concentrate less on what others have done or failed to do..
And to think you will all hate brum soon when we start winning every thing :lol: :lol: :wink:

It like the one game i watched carnt for the life of me think wot one but Nevile went mad at the lines man for giving the other team a corner was in his face every thing
And it was a corner but Nevile said how dare you give them a corner even sky commenter’s mentioned it
they think no 1 as the right to win except them

No jealousy what-so-ever of Man Utd or their acheivements, they did what Liverpool and numerous other clubs did before them…. it’s the way they lose that makes people hate them.
Of course people wanted Everton to finish above Liverpool…. this season people would have loved to see Sam Allerdyce take Bolton into the Champions league above Ar senal…. it’s the underdog they support, not a hatred of the big club. I don’t remember ever hating Blackburn when they won the league even though they won on the back of Jack Walker and his millions, they did it with a respect for everyone else and when they lost, they lost with dignity, not crying about the ref and the penalty they should have had etc…. Last weekends FA Cup final, Man utd weren’t big enough to congratulate the Chelsea players, they moaned about Giggs and His “penalty” This is what people hate to see…. Mourhino couldn’t congratulate Liverpool when we knocked them out the European champions league…. all he could moan about was that Chelsea was “the better team over 90 minutes”…. So what Jose… you lost, deal with it !
Times do change, yes, but in the seventies and eighties, Man Utd had as much chance to choose their squads as Liverpool and Nottingham Forrest did… Whether they were an all English team or made up of the worlds finest, it doesn’t matter, they had the dignity to lose well…even Man Utd, not something that can be said now.
I won’t ever be jealous of another football club, be it Man Utd or Real madrid. We are Liverpool, Form is temporary, class is permanent !

its not about having the right to win, its about having the passion and the fight to win, its what fergie has installed in all the players, thats why they have won so many titles under fergie
look at sunderland and keane… its the same fight installed there.. nothing wrong with having the confidence and the fight to think you can win every game
as for diving, you can’t single out just man united… if your telling me you never seen another player dive whos not wearing the red of man united, then you are watching too many united games and not much else… maybe sky are to blame for the constant viewing of games united are involved in
in the 80’s… united had Ron Atkinson as manager, enough said

That’s something I can’t agree with…. Munich was the 50’s when Man Utd were a well respected side and a bl oody good one at that. We have Hillsborough, just down the road from me, and was a game, that due to bad luck or good luck as you see it, I missed out on a free ticket to see.
As for Europe… then they are liars if they say they’d prefer to win the domestic league than the European title…. it’s like saying England would prefer to win the European Championship instead of the World cup.

Thankfully the likes of Bob Paisley and Bill Shankley are dead and dont have to witness the level of abuse spouted out by someone who claims to be a Liverpool fan- and it says so much more about you Herman (bit of a German name that) than it does about Utd. N yes, sections of Utd fans act in the same way (after all, Hillsborough was the fault of a bunch of pi/ssheads wasnt it)-

It also says more that you can’t even take banter- If I was a Liverpool fan in a Manchester pub, I’d EXPECT my face rubbing in it if Man Utd score- but thats a long way from dishonouring those who have died n a Manchester fan would get the same in Liverpool
