why are we here?

Most people associate chat rooms with people who are looking for extra curricular physical intimate relationships or with people who want to vent there perversions on the unsuspecting population.

It can be a surreal world really, faceless people talking to what to all intents and purposes is a machine. Building friendships maybe, friendships that will stand the test of time, using it to get that something that is lacking in their lives perhaps, whether it be a marriage gone stale, loneliness or just a genuine desire to socialise and meet people.

Me? i cant really say what first attracted me to the chat rooms, I guess maybe I fell into the genuine desire to socialise and meet people.

During the first couple of months I continued talking to various people, some fairly normal as chat world goes, some not so normal (and never ceased to surprise me some of the things people wanted to do) and I have to say some really nice people.

I built up a rapport with a few select people but soon realised that the constant battle against people who had perversions *and i have to say the 20 something year olds* who *liked older women* was not what i wanted so i ventured into the main communal chat room and that is where I head for usually when i log in.

the chat room can be daunting at first and when i see anyone come in i usually say hello,,,,,,the chat room can be a bit clique and to newcomers must seem a nightmare..and i have to say that sometimes the room goes so fast that it easy to miss that person in the corner saying nothing ……until they leave, then you realise that no one has spoken to them…….or mayb they didnt want to speak just watch the world go by…….

i do try to keep out of the conflicts that happen from time to time……sad when you think what a great social forum this is that people fall out……….i do understand tho with some people but instead of snipin there is that wonderfull iggy button lol

so to sum up i guess i still go into chat rooms cos i enjoy it ……….its kinda like havin ya freinds round fer a cup of coffe……without havin to wash up afterwards lol
