Well..
I certainly won’t be jumping for joy when England are knocked out – I know how much great runs in such tournaments mean to the English people – and I will never forget the support given to The Republic of Ireland by many in the UK throughout USA 94.
And let’s face it… most of the English players do entertain the rest of Europe and the world week in week out in the ever popular Premiership…
But when one looks at the two teams on display tonight, the passing and movement of both The Netherlands and Argentina must win the day over the sterility of England… A quarter final defeat at the hands (and feet) of one of these I’m afraid :?Looks like it’s going to be The Netherlands :roll:

If Gerrard plays further forward his potency in midfield is lost.
