Hi ya M8 ,
Listen when i start my comp up its taking forever to open any kind of window, I have done the Start,Run,MSCONFIG thingy & Disabled all i need to but its not that anyway , Its when im up & running & say for example ive got justchat up & I click on a link , it then takes at least a good minute to open the page , have you or any one else any ideas what this could be & how to rectify it ……?

use the ctrl alt delete function and see how the ”performance” is running……will tell you if the processer is pulling it’s guts out or it’s just on a go slow
You’ve checked that ‘no’ unauthorised processes are running?
Whats the bandwidth from your isp, imbetween the lines are you saying if you open a folder on your desktop it takes ages . . . . try defragging or a disk clean up (as a start)
how old is the computer and what’s the system?
deleate your cookies and all your posts on jc.. this will result in much faster performance
Its the ram, I bet he’s only running 256mb.
