We have a laptop, don’t like it, I get back ache sitting on a sofa with one, I find the mouse pad a pain up the erse too, I like to sit at the pc table on a proper chair, keeps your posture good and i also have a rest for my arms whilst typing, you lot will be all twisted up by the time ya 50
I HAVE to use a lappy..I simply can’t work the mouse on the PC..I have NO hand to eye co-ordination, which is why I nearly drove our jeep into Glen Uig bay when hubs let me get behind the wheel..I couldn’t operate the clutch AND the steering wheel..never mind the brakes.
I can still smell the burning rubber as hubs pulled on the handbrake..and as for his scream of terror… :shock:15 October, 2008 at 12:58 pm #382114@esmeralda wrote:

*Screams laughing*15 October, 2008 at 4:15 pm #382115Those of you (you lucky, lucky few) who have set eyes on the Pepper-Pod, will know that it’s a small umm.. curiously decorated study room adorned with posters of Beatle John (is it stiil ok to mention him? :P ), Spiderman, LOTR, Star Wars and Uma Thurman to name but a few 8-[
Oh and don’t get me started on my Lightsaber rack 8)
It’s .. cosy..
(and it also has nice curtains).

The main computer is in the music room.
Mine used to be in the music room too but I moved it to the snooker room instead. :?
15 October, 2008 at 4:35 pm #382117Mines a desktop the screen is on a small table by the settee in the sitting room so I can have a comfy seat and watch tele at the same time. I have the keyboard on a cushion on my lap. The engine bit is on its side hidden by the side of settee.
I often think I would like a laptop but I find it much harder to type on them as I have fat fingers and the keys are so close together, infact I once went in 40s on a friends and everyone thought I was pished with the typos. Suppose I would get used to it though.
