21 August, 2011 at 10:44 am #4749314 September, 2011 at 11:28 pm #474932Today would have been Freddie Mercury’s 65th birthday. He was one of those stars that somehow I still can’t believe has gone.
Go to http://www.google.co.uk (today only) for their tribute to him…turn your speakers on and click on the centre button of the logo.
5 September, 2011 at 7:24 am #474933I loved Freddie, and I cant believe he’s not with us either :( he was so full of life and energy its so sad he isn’t still with us.
I have a nice story though about Freddie. Some years a ago some friends of mine were on a holiday in Zanzibar, my friend who talks to everyone and makes friends with all sorts of odd bods got talking to a lady in a shop selling antiques….. anyway to cut a long story short she ended up at this ladies house having typically English afternoon tea.
As she sat and chatted she noticed a picture of Freddie on the sideboard … so she asked the lady if she was a fan of Freddie’s…. the lady replied… oh yes my dear and actually he is my son…….yes she was having tea with Freddy mercury.s mum!

6 September, 2011 at 5:14 pm #474936Anyone remember these two… Paul and Barry Ryan, I have fond memories of them they were identical twins and it was impossible to tell them apart when they were young… Barry was the extrovert, Paul was always more studious… …. their mum was Marion Ryan the singer.
