jealousy aboundsAt the end of the day a striker’s job is to score goals. That’s what he’s ultimately judged on. He can do all the work he likes off the ball but he’s gotta score goals. There are numerous strikers who can work off the ball and score goals. Maybe Liverpool should have went for one of them.
25 November, 2005 at 8:20 am #171962Silly boy Morph missed a few little games out in his list or maybe it was too hard for him to admit Liverpool will be competing in Japan next month for the World Club Championship ………… Something he could only dream about for his substandard team.
25 November, 2005 at 10:40 am #171963i dont rate the world club comp to be honest, i really cant see how a team who finished 5th in their countries league, and at this present moment are 9th in the league and 15 points behind the top spot but won a knockout competition for european teams can be classed as or even play to be the worlds best club team!
i still stick by it that the champions league should only be for the champions of the leagues to play in.
my worry for liverpool is that they could fall foul to some ower teams this season until crouch scores i watched the game the other night and it seemed all they where doing was trying to get crouch “that” goal
25 November, 2005 at 10:56 am #171964And your team is ?
You’d rate it if they where in it
