So they come here and persecute us? Makes sense now.

Don’t be stupid woman ffs. They should be punished in other ways and, as I said, they should all be looked at for deportation as a general rule. Just don’t send back the ones who will seriously be at risk of losing their lives. How’s young Winston btw? Kicking yet?

I agree in principle with the idea of deporting immigrants who commit crimes. However, each case needs to be dealt with on an individual basis and people shouldn’t be automatically deported once they have served their sentence.

Firstly, the courts get in wrong sometimes and it’s very easy for an innocent person to be convicted (especially if they have to rely on legal aid). People need to be given every opportunity to clear their names even after their sentence has been served. Deporting an innocent man who’s lived here for years or even decades just adds insult to injury.

Secondly, if an immigrant saw someone robbing a pensioner and he gave that person a good kicking he could get convicted for assault. Should that good samaritan then face deportation?

So I don’t believe in blanket deportations.

Avery valid point yes i agree they should all be given the oportunity to clear their names before deportation because like you say justice isnt always done so i guess we are back to the terrible justice system again. You hit a burglar with a baseball bat for breaking in he gets compensation you possibly get jail hmmm thats fair!!!!
Maybe the best bet is to scrap the whole justice system and start again with life meaning life to start with. And to poshy yes i agree with the teaching of people in prison not just punishment but How do we go @ putting the respect into the young nowadays when i was a kid i was too scared to be rude to policemen etc nowadays its done for the thrill, there is far too much leniancy with wrong doers from the day kids start school onwards.
when do we say its not acceptable the way alot ,not all ,kids and teenagers behave? when they have set fire and filmed on mobile one of our own relatives burning alive ??or now ??
