Oh, i missed this post….SusieQ, now you have made my head hurt……perhaps our resident linguist can assist here……i take handsome in this case to relate to that of a handsome profit, which i think is without gender. :?
Am i right to think you are fully recovered now SusieQ, with your return to work now imminent ? Lets hope that you are, meanwhile, i think you will be missed. :)
When women are described as handsome it generally means that they are striking in looks, often with strong (but not manly) features, rather than classically beautiful or delicately pretty.
