Have a frying pan lid, crack the egg into a little medium hot oil just as the white is setting turn up the heat and put a little water into the pan and quickly put the lid on, the steam will cook the top of the egg. A glass lid is best so you can see the cooking

ty for your advice on frying eggs
I have just had two wonderful ones
and I cut my toast into soldiers
I know that is for boiled eggs, but ive yet to master them
oh btw whilst we are on about eggs, ive heard that one should never put eggs in the fridge
the argument being, you don’t buy eggs from the supermarket, butchers etc from a fridge
conversely, most fridges have or they used to,6,eggy like shapes,to encourage you to pop your eggs in,pardon the phrase
so whos right and whos wrong?
its beginning to bug me now :x

As a guideline, look at where the supermarkets keep them. If eggs were meant to be refrigerated then the supermarkets would keep them in the fridge but they don’t.

Refrigerating eggs does reduce the risk of salmonella but if you buy supermarket eggs they all have the British lion on them which means they have to meet certain standards, one of which is to come from flocks that have been vaccinated against salmonella.

If you do keep them in the fridge you do need to make sure they are kept away from other food which has strong odours as the shell is porous and it will change the flavour…then again you might be partial to a garlic-flavoured boiled egg for your brekkie! You also need to bring them to room temperature before using them otherwise you’ll find the whites a tad runny and, if you’re baking, the eggs won’t bind to other ingredients effectively.

which is quite weird really, so you cant put eggs near meat
so lets say ive got half a chicken left over
which do I leave in the fridge
or in other words, which comes first
    the chicken or the egg?

Why not? My salad looks scrumptious, Shiddy.
What an awful thing to say to a woman who is trying to take pride in her cooking :?

Maybe your thoughtless comments are reasons why you lack a good woman around!?

What meat am I bashing, exactly??

And cider is for wimps. :P

Those cookies and the salad both look deliciouth.
