Doesn’t matter about age to me… yes our music tastes grow as we age but even if I didn’t like someone but had a realisation that they were a good act I would say… he is just being a nim. :roll: :lol:
Pats, don’t tell me you’re on of these ‘young folk today etc etc’ Showing your age and ignorance there. I do appreciate good music, I just don’t appreciate her music and don’t see what all the fuss is about.
If that makes me a nim then fair enough (though I’d love to see the logistics behind that other than the fact that I’m not getting swept away by the hype and the fact that I actually don’t agree with your point of view)

Fasty, you probably know more about the charts than I do so you tell me. My interests lie beyond the latest trends.
Strange that you assume that since I’m not an Amy Winehouse follower that I’m a boy band fan though. There’s a whole world of different music out there – keep listening, you might actually hear something different. That goes for pats as well.

I’m awfully sorry, we must be talking about a different Amy cos the one I was talking about is an alcoholic druggie….
Anyhoo, back to the subject matter. Why are you defending something that isn’t even being attacked? I never said ‘Her music’s s**t, why do folk bother?’ I was merely wondering what all the fuss was about cos anytime I’ve heard her, I haven’t heard anything special (an opinion – shocking innit?) Not quite the same thing.
Just cos you appreciate it doesn’t mean everyone does.
Only person mekin a fuss is you from what I can see.
