My favourites included Little House on the Prairie, Playaway, Mr Benn, Camberwick Green, Trumpten and Chigley.
I also loved the childrens books that they used to do every Sunday afternoon – Heidi, Thursdays Child, Little Princess etc. I’m sure that’s why I read so much now – I couldn’t wait until the next episode, so I got the books and read them!
Also loved HR Puffinstuff – the whitch on the flying bike broomstick & stripy stockings – bliss!! Bring them back – get rid of the Japanese/American rubish!

Who remembers a 70,s classic sitcom, “love thy neighbour” one was a white honky and the other one was a black sambo. pmsl that was so funny. You couldnt show it now though, not pc. then of course there was “some mothers do av em” pmsl I loved frank spencer… “it aint half hot mum” windsor davies was a legend in that. “poofs” he used to say lol. oh and what about that classic dads army episode? the one where they had the Germans, and he wanted to take down all their names so he could complain? he asked pike, aka Ian Lavender, his name and dopey Captain Mannering, shouts, “dont tell him Pike!” FFS pmsl.. classic. :lol: :lol: :lol:
