13 July, 2006 at 8:50 am #229971It was Watch With Mother when I was a child – Andy Pandy, The Flowerpot Men, The Woodentops and The Herbs.
Nothing else on then and it was in black and white, but we enjoyed it.
Later I remember watching Camberwick Green and Trumpton
(Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble and Grubb!) :lol:Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet were fantastic at the time and I still love them
all these years later. This is the voice of the MysteronsStingray and Joe 90 8)
and I thought nostalgia was a thing of the past!

Yes, I have noticed that Windy has been sexed up for the Noughties
Back in my day ‘the sixties’ I don’t remember him winking, or getting his oats
I have found his song and I think you should sing it at your next karaoke night Mary, just jazz it up a bit maybe.
Windy Miller’s Song
Windy Miller, Windy Miller sharper than a thorn
Like a mouse he’s spry and nimble when he grinds the corn
And like a bird he’ll watch the wind and listen for the sound
Which says he has the wind he needsto make the sails go roundThey don’t make em like that anymore!
