“America stands in firm opposition to China’s detention of political dissidents, human rights advocates and religious activists,” he said.

Now forgive my cynacism but isn’t there the small matter of Guantanamo Bay and Iraq? Has this complete idiot forgotten his own stance on human rights? Hidden CIA detention camps around the world, religious, and political dissidents ‘holed up’ in the name of ‘democracy’ Bush style?

I wish someone would put us all out of our misery and get rid of this fool once and for all.

Fools are inevitably more dangerous than the inherently evil, and there is no more profoundly religious, righteous and injurious a fool than a Bush fool.
Yet, we will observe in November, the changing of the guard, and more of the same.
America – enforcer of world law, bigot, hypocrite and bully.

They learned ever so well from us

from the time the UK handed over independence to the US, they have diverged and gone their own way.

Britain has a long history of parliament and the rights of kings. America chose another route. They have a President. There is therefore no balance.

=D> I’ve always liked Bush for this reason. 8) he takes no stick. He’s a good man. Britain & America have a duty in this world, a duty to put others in their place. Britain has been doing this for hundreds of years on her own.. in Bush she has found an ally, a ‘hired muscle’ to help us in our world interests of peace and enforcing human rights laws.

The fact is, China is an evil, evil nation. (They’re Commie, what do you expect?) — they use child labour, they flattened homes to build the olympic stadium, they’re oppressing Tibet illegally, they put people up in front of firing squads for being pro-democracy or anti-Communist (for being good guys basically), they rape and mutilate children… China is a vicious, savage land and it’s about time America stood up and said ‘no’ to the Chinese way of life.

America’s stance as regards China and its dealings with Tibet is just a sound bite. They would never do anything to actually intervene. The Olympics has been a way for Tibet to show the world what is happening. After the Olympics is over, will it fade from the world collective conscience?

Fact of the matter is the US show as much regard to human rights as the Chinese. The US is second in the world to ‘legal’ executions behind the Chinese. The US and China jointly share top spot for carbon emissions. The US have broken more UN rulings than any other country on the planet. The US do not recognise the Hague and the courts against those against humanity… why? Because they won’t extradite their own citizens that may be found in abuse of such laws. The US is the most dangerous country on this planet as long as people like Bush can wage war and build empires at the behest of those foolish enough to believe in him

    > Stage right Thomas.

It’s like murdering someone and then standing before the cameras and telling someone else they are naughty boys for doing it. I know the American electorate are transparent but is it seriously the case that certain people here are as stupid as the American electorate? I guess it must be… Kiss yer arse goodbye because the US political system is about to blow us off this planet.
