This is a long story but I try to tell it anyway:
Finnish court has been solving this case of a man called Nils Gustafson being prosecuted of 3 murders. Over 40 years ago 4 young people (includeing Nils) went camping by lake Bodom. Next morning these two girls and one boy were found dead in their tent. Nils was hurt and unconscious but alive. He said (and still says) that he doesn’t remember anything that happened. The murder weapon (probably a stone and a kinfe) were never found.
Only few years ago the police opened this case again. There’s no evidence that there was anyone from outside that came to kill the youngsters without a good reason. Only Nils had a motive (a fight in the camp) and he wasn’t even seriously injured when the other’s bodies were almost completely damaged (from other one of the girls were even taken her clothes off). Today the jury declared Nils innocent for the action.
I think hes quilty (and so does about 50% of Finnish people). Nils had even said: “it’s done what it’s done” when he had arrested!
But there’s just not enough evidence… the case is too old.
I must ask myself was that the perfect crime that will never be solved :?
(This is what the whole of Finland is talking at the moment)
