My youngest leaving school a lesson early today. Other half was sitting indoors when at 2.45 who comes walking in the door? My youngest.
He said what you doing home, he said he thought he was late so came straight home…
He was talking to his teacher for 5 minutes after geography, and thought it was the end of the day.
So he went to the sports hall where he had planned to do trampolining after school and on seeing there was nobody there and no trampolines out, left to come home.
After realising his mistake at home, he phoned me on my mobile absolutely crying his eyes out and could hardly speak! I rang the school and they were hugely sympathetic, and his tutor even rang me back later when they got hold of her and she said what a great start he has made to senior school.
We had a chuckle about it, but he is really mortified by his error, what a silly billy bless x 8)
