Getting a free ‘Queens of The Stone Age’ CD at work today off a friend. Her daughter wanted it for christmas but she ordered two by mistake. Today was the first we’ve had time to speak to each other since before christmas and she thought I’d appreciate it since I mentioned being a fan rather than sending it back :D

Only thing is, I’m gonna have to buy her a box of chocolates or something to say thanks. I could not bother, wouldn’t worry me in the slightest, but she has a car and saves me taxi fare on backshifts sometimes :lol:
no no no young john,,a favour deserves a favour i always say..! she was good enough to think of you,so next time something like that happens,she will remember your kindness and think of you first :)
I smiled at the speed of my formatted pc today..im used to getting up,switching pc on,kettle on,making tea,having fag..THEN maybe pc be fired up,,ye gods i got a fright when it came on soon as i switched it on and it even wished me a ” good morning” !
^^^ Know what you mean about the slowness sometimes.. im getting an upgrade on
mine..The mans coming to change modem etc.. Im expecting sparks to
fly out of mine tomorrow!! cant wait..Dunno whats its all about, but its a new wireless modem.. its probably been around for ages. have to see how it goes.. I know this much though.. the fella wont be going until, im all set up!! with pc running.. :PA poem 8)

But the weather made me smile too, went for a drive to a parrot place, then another drive through Ongar and all the country around there, just a really nice day, then got home and my poem had arrived and it really was the icing on the cake :wink: 8)

posting from your mobile, thats why I went helllooooo!!! :PI love Ongar and all the areas around there, we came back and drove through the villages of Bobbingworth and Moreton where some old episodes of Lovejoy were filmed, really oldie worldy, and even better in the sunshine!
