    Had a long chat with a customer yesterday about a job interview she was going for, she was so low and needed her spirits lifting and some positive thinking…well I guess it did the trick, she’s just come in with the biggest smile I’ve ever seen to say she got the job and thank you :D

    Just a shop? Just a shop assistant? Nah, I think there’s something truly magical at work here and I love it! :D

    Thank you Mrs T…it sounds like a cliche but I am truly blessed to be doing something that I love, that doesn’t feel like a job, where I get to touch so many peoples’ lives and they touch mine. And it’s the kind of shop where every day you are given evidence that there are so many more lovely people out there than the nasties who are a minority, and that magic really does happen.

    I am lucky, and I count my blessings every day.

    Last week I spoke for some time with a customer who has recently had a stroke, we shared once of those magical moments of knowing that we are not alone in this life and it was heart touching and heart warming. Today she has come back in to visit, with a big smile, a joy and happiness radiating from her…and a big bar of chocolate to say thank you.

    The chocolate is a lovely gesture but unnecessary…her joy and happiness was thanks enough and brought a smile to my face and heart.
