Sounds very mysterious but i’m referring to a lot of the plans people had or may have had when they were younger that never got achieved because of this reason or that reason. Any of you still itching to do some thing you promised your self years ago but never got around to ?. I’m not referring to regrets here, only things that can still be achieved.

Yesterday has come and gone…today is a glorious day full of fantastic opportunities.

You all have a great day.

I too agree Jane, good post.

For last many years of my parents life traveling all over asked me often to take trip with them Knew needed to just, well fly the coop.

My father loved Scotland so many times there, my mum, Ireland. Not either heritedy.

Both got sick same time very difficult. No longer able to do what loved both begged prior last week of death, take that trip for them… think of them, enjoy, mysekf, be free, happy again…

I am fulfilling this long waited promise and honor for both.

Booked scheduled, all ready, ha ha already putting things away for trip arrive London March 30th, American Airlines 100. Shoot 8 hours, thought 6 flight. Leave April 11th.. good to go..

Travel paid by gift from my parents who lay next to each other in peace after 62 years married. Miss them so…

    Xxx

Answering the question with a question eh? Sure….ok ……..i promised my self a long time ago that i would do many things as well. Although, where i am now tells me that what i promised to do years ago….out of many things , only certain things are still on my list. As one gets older one realizes that not all things that one wants to do when younger were worth doing……….

All things that i believed i was good at…no one wanted to encourage. i ought to be doing this…i ought to be doing that. To be honest though…the answer is this…i got lots of art work to finish, lots of music and lots of producing. Books to write and things to be completed that never were because of this reason  and that reason.

I under stand what you say about things never started but i got about 20 000 years full of catching up to do before i take on any thing new. But if the need arises , knowing what i’m like, i’ll fit it in some how.

Time is an interesting concept. We all have the same hours  mins secs in a day so it all comes down to how we use them. Been working on a song, a poem and a book about time for some years.

Hmmm interesting topic for a thread….

    Misterq…

What better than time right now as we all get older together, to take 1 hour of down time for you, no one else and put those thoughts and dreams into action.

Laughing here, I am really last crafter on the feminine side of families. No one crochet, not one, or interest, needlepoints, as I love, paints so forth. So keep tradition going. Been told by family, when I go last of the bigger family line. Ha ha..

So now I sew table cloths, baby quilts, Christmas decorations. Have containers each marked. On my death will be delivered to each. They not know. Also a hand stitched card individual done with note as memory..
Few friends too. Sounds morbid maybe but it is part of me everyone has received or seen over the years.

    Hee hee

That was a very touching post about your parents, Linda.

Britain is a small country, but one with great variety. Many places to see.

One of my favourite places is Holy Island, well to the north of Newcastle. You can get there by a causeway, but you need to choose the right times as the causeway is only open for part of the day. Tides cover it otherwise. Quite a few people get caught on that causeway by not taking notice of the timetable whihc alerts you to the times the tides come in – there have been some people drowned.

But the air is very clean and island has an austere beauty about it. Lindisfarne, a very old church, is there. If you get caught by the tides, there are hotels to stay the night.

You can only get there by car, so if you can make it take the coastal route from Morpeth, and don’t forget to visit Bamborough, Dunstanburgh castle and Craster – all near by.

Ahhhh Scep….been to Lindisfarne and Holy Island. The little church is beautiful. I lit candles for my grandparents in there, and one other person.

I’d love to go back there again one day.

it sounds a really full tour.

Holy Island would fit in with the Yorkshire Dales, but I doubt very much whether you’ll have enough time.

    Enjoy, anyway.
