11 August, 2010 at 12:04 pm #445607Freedom, is ignoring the posts you dont like or cant be arsed with, or debating a point if you feel the want or need and and just continuing on in your own sweet way the rest of the time whatever someone else posts to you or about you. Personally i try not to build up too much in the way of individual opinions of people but to try as much as possible to take every post ANYONE makes on its own merit, whether it is someone i likes style or someone i dont, if they make a good post i’ll say so, if they dont i’ll say so, but if they pi ss me off too much, after a while i just ignore it and do my own thing, so for want of an very old used phrase… iggy the b@stards you dont wanna reply too, they’ll get bored unfed eventually.
i was discussing this with some one last night and they said .. “in many ways freedom can be equated to truth, is freedom being in a state of truth, but at the same time the truth can be such a prison to some, so its all down to perception”…. this makes some sense to what jen jen said originally, about how everyone personal freedom will always be different, because everyones truth will always be different. But being true to yourself i think will always be freedom only a personal level, no matter how different that is between us all.
Also “feeling free” is different again, i can be walking on the moors or even across the fields admiring nature, alone with my thoughts and usually my dogs and feel a massive sense of freedom away from the grind of everyday’s chores and lifes stresses, but that doesnt mean i ultimately feel free once that moment has gone. I still need to think on this some more :roll:11 August, 2010 at 6:30 pm #445608freedom = single
12 August, 2010 at 7:30 pm #445609LOL – Tic..
FREEDOM..
Being allowed to be yourself –
Doing what you want, free from pain – stress – bullying, negativity, people who try and control you, the way you think – dress, the things you do, and so on.
Then again, none of us will ever be free of at least something.

14 August, 2010 at 11:34 am #445614Well, this thread has got me thinking, so much so that further consideration must be given to it. I am currently writing an essay regarding Freedom together with its pros and cons, hopefully in pdf format and with my experimenting with web creation, potentially downloadable. Fortunately, Freedom extends to Free facilities and expression, for some. :D
