Well it’s that time of the year for me, the grand re-opening of the luxury coastal retreat :lol: :lol: . So Saturday morning we will be packing the car with all the bedding, cushions, microwave, tvs etc and heading to the East Coast. We will be spending most of Saturday cleaning and airing the caravan which has been shut up for winter and as soon as we have finished we will be taking a long walk on the beach and listening to the sea and may be forced to have a little drink or two at the pub on the seafront.
So….. what plans have you for the weekend:?: :?: Spending the whole weekend on JC is NOT an acceptable answer :!: :?: :shock:
This weekend will see me pushing the limits of excitement to the very edge.
Tomorrow morning 11am sharp sees the arrival of “parents” – by 11.10am the female parent will be doing something “useful” clearing out the cutlery draw is her fav (I must be such a disappointment)..the male parent will be armed with a screwdriver and will offer to fix things that aren’t even broken. At 11.15am I shall be suggesting a walk along the beach to break the tension.
Repeat this on Sunday with the arrival of “in-laws” and my weekend is just complete!
On the plus side – going to show my daughters around our new house – they’re so excited they might just burst (which might give my mother something else to clean up)

Hello there Spartacus :wink: Well, I’m going to load me broomstick with several items and take em to the tip. Then I hope to watch some footy on the telly :lol: After that I have to cook dinner for her indoors (Poor thing can’t cook :wink: ) Then I’m going to try and sort out my new puter that I’ve had for a year now, well this one needs a good slap :lol: I hope your caravan is heated as it’s going to be effing cold over there :shock: I dare you to go for a swim :lol: :lol: :lol: On a serious note, have a good time, I will until her indoors reads this on Sunday morning :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

PS Amelia I have a very good spellbook and a hefty cauldon if you ever need them :wink:

Homemade references scribbled on the back of an envelope in purple crayon? I’ve got some of them too!
Oh and….your spellbook….any spells in there to improve the spelling and grammar in F3? I’d be your bestest friend for life if you could arrange that.

Too right Poet I did read this on Sunday Morning, [-X [-X [-X and less of the poor thing can’t cook (just because I like different food to you and am on a diet). :-({|= :-({|= :-({|= goes for the sympathy vote there.
