I’ve been told I have a Dublin Accent (which is quite unremarkable considering I was born here, and have lived here all my life :) ). I would like to place myself proud amongst fellow Dublin accentees :D such as Gabriel Byrne, Colin Farrell, and Bono… but alas I’m nowhere near as handsome :?… (well, maybe near enough to Bono.. on a bad day.. with his shades on… 8) … )… Anyway..

I do like differing accents.. The beautiful music of the Welsh, The lovely lilt of certain Scottish accents.. the polar extremes of certain English accents also fascinates me.. I like em all (playing it safe here I know lol)..

ps.. Fave? Well.. I’m quite a sucker for a lovely Posh one

Nothing wrong with being well spoken, I must admit that the Nottingham accent (true one) makes me cringe, I have over the years worked on not being so broad, call me a snob call me what you like but I prefer to be better spoken. I do adjust myself accordingly.

Rubes I am glad you are well, I am off out today, off to friends for a BBQ… I hope the weather holds up

As for you Drivel, do you want to kiss my stocking clad feet?

Nothing would give me greater pleasure Mistress Stan – you can rest your feet on my back as I kneel before you

Have a SLIGHT west-country accent. Like Welsh in a woman (in a man it sounds gay) and Scottish or Geordie in a man (in a woman they sound aggressive) See, I like my men to be men and women to be women! :)
