Anyway, my earlier question of “which is the only team to have never been relegated?” was an age old standard football question. That question has since been made void with the inclusion of AFC Wimbledon into the Football League 6 years ago. Admittedly, I only really follow the Premier League and a little of the Championship, so thanks again to rudeboy’s due diligence, as I was totally unaware of AFC Wimbledon’s status. So no more beating about the bush,. here is the final revision of my original question.
4 March, 2017 at 4:44 am #1024110Which is the ONLY top flight side (Premier League and old Division 1 ) to never have been relegated from it?

5 March, 2017 at 10:31 pm #1024538Arsene Wenger, thanks for everything it’s time to go.
How can you “drop” your best player and top goalscorer for such a difficult and important match? I’m sure he had his reasons for doing so, but whatever those reasons were they are not good enough and unacceptable. Wenger has said many times over the years “the best form of defence is to attack”
All credit to Liverpool, they played very well and deserved the win, yet when Alexis came on for the 2nd half the difference was all to evident that he should have started.
Furthermore, the 3 substitutions made for and during the second half, Alexis, Walcott and Perez included 42 goals between them just this season. Ridiculous.
You got that all wrong Monsieur Wenger.

Training ground bust-up? If there’s any truth to the rumours, he had to be dropped — but bringing him on for the second half makes dropping him for the first half pointless.

7 March, 2017 at 8:26 pm #1025005I’m not a fan of football but I have got to mention Robbie Fowler who used to play for Liverpool. During the dockers strike in Liverpool Robbie ask for one of the Tshirts they had made to raise some money. A few days later during a football game Robbie scored a goal and lifted up his football shirt to reveal the dockers T shirt . Robbie got a fine for doing this! Weeks later outside Anfield grounds the sacked dockers were selling these T shirts and fans from all over the uk queued up to buy them. We are still making money today on these T shirts we asked Robbie to sign them and had them framed as a limited edition even those flew out. Lovely lad Robbie and a great ambassador for Liverpool. I don’t care what anyone else says in here.

14 March, 2017 at 9:47 am #1026052FA CUP SEMI-FINALS
Chelsea v Spurs
Arsenal v Man City
We are all set up for an Arsenal v Spurs final @ 4/1
15 March, 2017 at 8:31 pm #1026434I’d fancy that. I would say, as a Spurs fan, that I’d have preferred being drawn against Man City or Arsenal in the semi.
