Hello again Angel x Thanks for all the lovely posts. Keep them coming please. I really enjoy listening to other peoples songs. I love jazz in all its varieties, and all the more modern genres that have evolved from jazz such as funk, soul, ska and reggae. The Billie Holiday album is a treat, and I do believe thats our first album posted :) Nice.
There is a wonderful film called Lady Sings The Blues starring Diana Ross as Billie Holiday probably available on youtube. Diana sang some of Billie’s reportoire for the film and there’s a great soundtrack available. I actually prefer Diana’s voice to Billie’s on these 3 recodings, for you, I hope you listen and enjoy xxx

JAZZ FUNK
A very specialised and sublime genre, although it’s really a sub-genre. For the purists, you know who you are :) Four fine examples.

My contribution to a site going too slow and leaving me unabled or too dense too know how to put up music..
no matter how much I copy and poste a fave song/songs it will not let me select them..
my feeble contribution was sun ra and his arkestra.
I get error this file is not allowed..

I do keep trying Mista Divine… even leaving a message is hard as I keep getting the wee spinny blue wheel of being cut off.. worse more if I try add music. I just love you and sophias and moose contributions.. I feel obliged to jump in and say so.. and want to add another beauty they would remember. keep up the great work xx
