3 March, 2017 at 12:50 pm #1023969I’m starting to get the impression that you like jazz.
Just saying, so if you don’t please take no offence.
It was just a thought.

I have downloaded this one too. Hopefully you can bring some newer music to my attention and I can bring some old stuff to yours :)

3 March, 2017 at 4:58 pm #1023998I am not so keen on jazz, but I’ve heard enough to realise that this is my failing.
I have a friend (in the real world) who is very keen indeed on the mood music, in most of iots forms.
The only jazz I liked (and big-time) was Louis Armstrong in the late 1920s to early 1930s, especially his work with the Hot Fives. Don Redman on the piano is almost – almost – as good as Mr Bones..now the playing here is tight..

3 March, 2017 at 8:01 pm #1024030Curtis Mayfield another great performer who died too soon. Curtis was paralyzed from the neck down after lighting equipment fell on him during a live performance in new York 27 years ago. Though he was unable to play guitar, he continued to compose and sing. He also directed the recording of his last album , New world order. Curtis died from complications of type 2 diabetes in 1999.

3 March, 2017 at 8:24 pm #1024031Marvin blew away the competition & everyone’s mind when he unleashed this brilliant set of political social soul tunes, which was unheard of at the time, then Curtis Mayfield expanded on it.
