Is there any point is buying a web cam that does 30 frames per sec if all you can get is 3-4 per second from a messager?
I got round to buying a new one yesterday and I did think it was my old cam that was the reason the frame rate was so slow, but the new one is just has bad.
I have been working on this problem for the last day or so, but if anyone knows how to boost the frame rate on a web cam using msn or yahoo messager let me know.

Doa .. if your webcam frame rate per second is out of synchronisation with your connection via MSN, then you have to slow down your wrist action, when using your webcam, so the person watching you at play can get the full flavour of your performance.

web cams are pervy
I think most of you have underestimated what web cams can do, there not just for the likes of pb “bashing one out” on a cam.
They have move on in the last 5 years and are much better than they once was.
There are a whole range of software that you can now download for them from using them has a security/nanny cam you can view from a mobile phone to connecting them to a telescope to take pictures of the night sky.
I think if you are the kind of person who likes using sites like “your tube” or any social net working sites they are useful.
But if you’re the kind of person who thinks there just for the “dirty mac brigade” don’t buy one, but for most people they are a lot of fun.
