I want the law to protect me from those who might have passed a driving test but are psychologically and temperamentally unfit to hold a driving licence. There are a lot of such drivers around.
Some of them even drive motocycles eh???
there are very few bikers without tax mot and insurance believe it or not. mabey its because bikers have a sence of community, for instance bikers will always stop and give a hand to other bikers who are broken down, they almost always acknowlege each other with the nod. [if yer a biker youll know what i mean.]they will often just drop everything if a mate has a crash or has his bike nicked. car drivers would never help each other or even stop if they see another car driver needing help, they are more likeley to laugh at the situation and drive on. so i would put bikers way above car drivers for their sence of fair play and being seen to do the right thing. my hubby as you know has been hit twice recently by car drivers who were not looking literally in front of them and you think the biker is at fault ????? bury yer head a little deeper my friend ur only up to your waist.

A member of my local chapter of Hells Angels has recently been sentenced to 18 years for committing murder with a sawn off shotgun. It took years for the police to finally nail him because of the very “sense of community” you are talking about. During the police investigations an arsenal of deadly weapons were uncovered including guns, machettes and baseball bats impregnated with 6 inch nails. It was revealed that the chapter had full control of prostitution and drugs dealing in the city and as we speak the government are trying to make it an offence just for being a member of such a gang.
Wonderful people bikers eh. :D
19 November, 2007 at 10:29 pm #293178I also assume by “bikers”, Wasp doesnt mean the thousands of scrotes who ride motorbikes up and down streets in every estate in the land, with no helmet, insurance or tax or any kind of respect for law and order
I guess the bikers Wasp means are the “seasoned” 40 somethings who have big bikes n lots of leather

A majority of hundreds upon thousands names tarnished by a minority. A bit like gypsys.
Bikers do look after their own but the ones I know would not harbour a murderer, nor would the majority. Who did they murder?

Not that Im condoning murder or anything….
20 November, 2007 at 10:43 am #293182Dutch police raided more than 65 locations nationwide and arrested 45 members of the Hell’s Angels motorcycle gang on charges of extortion, intimidation, weapons and drugs trafficking and murder, prosecutors said Monday.
Raids were conducted simultaneously overnight at club houses in six Dutch town and cities and two Hell’s Angels sites across the border in Belgium, a prosecution statement said.
Among items seized were a grenade launcher, a flame thrower, hand grenades, 20 hand guns, a machine pistol and Ђ70,000 (US$83,993) in cash. The operation was the culmination of an investigation into the motorcycle gang that began just over a year ago, the AP reports.
The action comes soon after a high-profile murder trial of three members of the gang in the south of the Netherlands in 2004, allegedly by fellow bikers.
The Hell’s Angels also was involved in international trafficking of cocaine and Ecstasy and the production and distribution of marijuana, prosecutors said. The investigation also covers the murder of a drugs dealer and the laundering of Ђ340,000 (US$407,966) in drugs money in 2004. A.M.
Eee by gum!! Aint these biker people just a grand bunch eh! But as waspish has pointed out. They have probably all got their bikes taxed, MOT’d and insured according to the law of the land and the sense of community spirit is currently at a record high. :D

Oh well that’s alright then, I must have misunderstood the point you were making.
So if the victim was innocent it was murder (which you don’t condone) and a terrible crime ….. and if he was a ”wrongun” then he deserved all he got.
Thank God we have nice decent honest biker gangs to act as Judge, Jury, and Executioner on our behalf so as to keep the streets clean and safe for us all.

20 November, 2007 at 4:02 pm #293185Wow! People seem to be more wound up about any attempts to stop bad driving than they were about the original topic.
