I have to tell you I have led a life bereft of cuddles and kisses
I was a very ugly child and my mother was not the most affectionate of women. Unlike my aunt Mabel, who took every opportunity to pull me onto her rather ample bosom. She often left me gasping for breath and to this day I often think of my childhood and those big breaths. My teenage years faired no better, as from about the age of 12 I got the most horrendous acne and as I got curiouser about the opposite sex they got crosser with me. After almost giving up on getting a girlfriend I suddenly came across Sally the Squeeze. She seemed to have a weird obsession with my affliction and loved nothing better than sitting on my face and squeezing the puss out of my spots. I am scarred (as well as scared) to this day. Since Sally I have been more than a little wary of what is expected from a kiss and cuddle. You however seem like a nice girl Ms Chick (can I call you Crazy?) so please keep paying your internet bills.As for Rubyred……well the sherry sure does go to your red head :shock:
My references to you and MaryJ being scottish and dyslexic was me trying to find a reason why many don’t reply to your posts. You have your own style of typing, it aint English but I like Mary as she knows. :) You however are a feisty redheaded Scots lady which is a dangerous combination.
p.s. No-one replies to my posts either but do I complain? No, coz I know I am a boring b’stard. :)
apart from Crazy Chick of course who I am obviously in love with in a non-slippery slope kinda way.
oh and Peco too who has surprised me to find he is yet another Scots person, but less volatile than some. I guess it just goes to show that you are a chatty lot.
I have to add to this thread as I’m guilty of reading some of your stuff Peco and not giving any input, mainly because you’ve said everything one could say to a subject :lol: Im sure your input isnt ignored youve made this thread of message board frustration in to a fun read.
Cheers oOneo! I am though concerned that this thread is getting out of hand. Some people are just determined not to let it die a gracefull death. It should be allowed to drift quietly into message board oblivion. It’s not a lonely-hearts club venue ffs. I’m worried that word will now spread among the great unwashed of JC that this is a fun place to be, a place to exchange views, a place to meet new friends and hang-out.
Before you know it we’ll have intellectuals posting stuff in here, and doggers, and car-booters. My greatest fear is that some users will start posting poetry in here, and song lyrics, and the thread will become universal. It may even be closed down by Martin, being perceived as a threat to other threads, even entire forums.

I’ve never known a cat to be impressed with anything.
