Nintendo have announced that the ever much sought after games console the Nintendo Wii will still be in short supply for sometime yet. And most likely pushing prices up further on the black market.
“Just before Xmas Nintendo flew January’s Wii stock allocation into the UK. Normally this stock would have taken 6 weeks to arrive by boat. This means that Wii stock will be in very short supply at the start of 2008 and unlikely UK shelves will see any consoles until February”
It’s a shame Nintendo refuse to let German retailers sell stocks they have that nobody is buying, to the UK.
Apart from the power plug being different, which is not a problem because you can just plug it in too a shaver 2 pin socket type of plug, there is no difference with them and no reason Nintendo should refuse to let them German retailers sell to the UK.
I know someone who had one brought over from Germany and its perfectly fine and working.My little brother bought his from a German company and it was cheaper than over here took 4 days to arrive he got it xmas eve……..he’s addicted to it now

I know a few people who went on the German Ebay and got them from there, no probs. Same as the new iphones, everybody I know is getting them from France cos they are not locked to any networks. Dont know how that would work here though… do you just stick any old sim card in and off you go? :shock:

Like anyone in the right mind would buy anything off you Ugo, i would not trust you with my TV remote.
