I just tried what you said Owen and that box is already ticked in my computer. I dont have any hidden files.

Your System Files are open for all to see!
    Do you have a firewall?
Have you read about or heard of this, and this?
I wouldn’t use my credit card online, or engage in online banking if I were you. 8-[

Would u like to explain what your on about Owen. Ive always assumed that hidden files were files that u had hidden yourself from prying eyes within your own home. Not files that can be accessed from the outside world. As far as i know I havent got or used any hidden files…. :?

Oh and ive tried running my anti-virus software in safe mode but it wont work. It works fine in normal mode though. Why’s that.. :?:

I found mine and deleted it manually as my virus software could not delete it. It (and many other of the little sh*ts   ) were hidden away in my windows directory.

I did have success running the scan in safe mode, but it still required a manual deletion

good luck fasty, I know what you are going through lol!

System files are hidden by default. Your files are not hidden, therefore, the Windows
settings on your pc have been changed manually via your keyboard, or by a hacker via
    the internet.

You still haven’t told me if you are using a firewall. I also need to know which anti-virus
software you’re using. {It sounds dodgy if it doesn’t run in Safe Mode)
