Anyone know anything about vidoe/graphics cards? I need an updated one because I cant play all the latest games without it, I have to stick with windows 98 ones lol. I need an AT Radeon PCI, something or other, but I,m not sure which sort, there are lots. I,m on windows XP 2. This is what I,ve got at the moment, if it,s any use to someone who knows. I,ve found on on e-bay but I dont want to get it if it,s the wrong sort. Any ideas anyone? I cant keep playing 98 fgs lol. And Owen, I really dont mind if it takes longer than 24 hours to reply lol.

What is all that and how do I find out if I,ve got it?
1 October, 2006 at 8:43 pm #243175the easist way to find out is to take the side of the case off and look at the spare slots.
this is an example of a board thats got an agp slot , the brown slot is agp the white ones are PCI standard

Ok Liam thanks. I,ll take a look this morning. Apparantly I need an ATI Radeon PCI video/graphics card for my machine. I,ve looked on amazon and there are loads and loads, but I need to make sure I get the right sort for my machine. I did this once with memory. Got some from amazon because it was cheap and it was the wrong sort. Eventually my machine was persuaded to accept half of it so I got 64mg,s instead of 128, which was better than nowt, but I was still cross. But PB be warned, if I make a pigs ear of it, expect your phone to ring.
