Anc i totally agree , to see the dispicable horror that is currently going on in Syria is harrowing. It does indeed bring back the memories and horrors of the Bosnia war where
the ethnic cleansing and genocide were not acceptable as they are not now in Syria.
For the so called civilised western world to sit back and debate as they did over the
slaughter in Bosnia is at best spineless and at worst cowardice.
I do not advocate war on a meaningless level but i feel ashamed that as so called
humanitarians some one does not intervene , not with pointless sanctions or strong
words but with actual intent to stop the destruction of a fellow person. The time for
words is at an end and if russia and china so wish to veto a vote then place sanctions
upon those two who have terrible human rights issues them-selves.
Maybe that would effect the trade we have with them ? Well then so be it let that be affected
because the loss of life is not comparable to monetary values unless you are a
politician who is having the lining of your pocket affetced by such sanctions.
The Red Cross has been refused entry with supplies for two days after over a month of
shelling , bombardment and murder , it is time to put an end to murder and atrocity.
