So, in their untiring search for ever more fornication, men are ripped off vast amounts of hard-earned cash and all in the name of St Valentine.

Well I tried to buy some old & very cheap Valentine’s cards at Matalan last year – but the tight fisted locals got them all before me. Hmmmm

Senior management isn’t the problem – she’s Italian and they don’t do Valentine’s Day there. The big problem is my daughter. SHE literally demands a card from her Daddy – and how can I refuse???

I refuse to go out for dinner (see above reasons) so I shall prepare a ‘bumper’ meal for supper and then sit back all smug & self-satisfied secure in the knowledge that my ‘Brownie point’ score has been added to and I’ve saved loads of money into the bargain.

I call that a ‘win win’.

Oh, and another thing.. Women claim they enjoy receiving anonymous cards.. Well, i thought I’d go that extra mile, make more of an effort, and made some anonymous calls.. Think they appreciated it?.. NO, they sued me for harrassment!! :lol:
