So Valentine’s day is almost upon us. What is everyone getting their loved one? Whos used their imagination with soming that will wow the other half?
Celtic zipper top, celtic t-shirt, celtic slippers (cough) – he likes celtic!!! chocolates and a couple of cds… who said romance was dead eh lol.
Going for dinner and thinking of booking a log cabin for few days too. Trying to save pennies for main holiday tho, so we’ll see.
This is a difficult one to answer. I’m married – so that blows out any soppiness about romantic dinners, presents, weekends away etc etc and I don’t have a mistress so that also blows out any soppiness about …. etc etc.
I suppose it will have to be a Valentine card or I’ll be in the doghouse for a while.
This entire Valentine’s thing is simply a commercial exercise organised by the greetings card industry aided and abetted by the flower sellers association.
After being married 19 years think its all for the young uns to be honest
But we still get each other a card and i always have a single red rose off him c00nt he is lol
Any case this year his shift as fell on nights so i wont see him at all lol :roll:
You know Sunny, what seriously pisses me off is the price of flowers just before Valentine’s day. Buy a ‘can I have a shag please’ sized bunch of yer average flowers the week or so beforehand and the cost is sort of OK.
Just because a bunch of spotty oversexed teenagers want to make some sort of point about their raging hormones, the price of flowers trebles (or more). The following week the price reverts to normality.
Same thing goes for restuarants. Can you get a simple bite to eat out on 14th??? not a chance. Overpriced crap, piss awful service, everything over crowded by dribbling soppy lovers mooning at each other all evening.
Even the TV programmes are rubbish!!!
