This year instead of buying little token presents for the people at work etc we have all put together and made a donation to Oxfam so the money can be put to more use.

A good idea instead of the “Secret Santa” that many do. Many people also prefer to give money to local charity instead of giving cards out.

Usually, some of the local charities have carol concerts for families nearer Xmas. It’s a lot better than another night in front of the tele, or worse, Internet.

We tend not to send xmas cards at work .. and donate to charity.

This year we have already done a few charity fundraisers. and at xmas we only buy one present for one person.

Stick names in a ‘at and buy for one person…..secret santa time…. saves a load of hassle.

Just wish I could do that with me family pmsl….
