ok the lil bubble keeps popping up saying theres a up date
Windows internet exploer 7 for xp
Now we all no my old pc was built with the arc but should i down load it and can it slow it down any slower than it alreay is :roll:

IMO IE6 is fine

IMO IE6 is fine
IE7 is OK provided that you ”finish” the installation once it has been downloaded and you’ve re-started your computer.
When people report is as going wrong …. It’s always been that they failed to properly instal it.

I did give it a chance, honest guv! Im one of these who likes to have the latest of everything but I just could not get on with it atall. Im also one of these who likes things to stay the same.

20 January, 2008 at 11:51 am #304967IE7 seems to have one or two problems with Java based programmes when youre uploading.Firefox will log onto a page and refresh far quicker.
I now hand it over to our learned friend DOA to explain the script workings of firefox and why its better.20 January, 2008 at 12:53 pm #304968its the same wiv media……when my puter fooked up i ad to re install a load of stuff…..now i cant get media player 10 back.ses it aint compatible :evil: i tried media 11 an hate it…..so now i’m back to media player 9…….which is cr/ap cos if sumone asks me to send em a song i’m playin i cant……..theres no..*open containing folder* thingy. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

So there’s nothing intrinsically wrong with Windows Media Player 11 as such … it’s just that you don’t like it for some reason. Maybe the GUI isn’t quite to your taste?
