Val Barlow was before my time, I had to google her…she was electrocuted by a faulty hairdryer, she was only 29 so if you think I look like her I guess I should be flattered!

I’m old enough to remember the first episode of Corrie..was a keen fan for about a year and vaguely remember Val Barlow…

I’m old enough to have cheered when the original Quasimodo rescued Esmeralda from a lynch mob – “Sanctuary!! Sanctuary!!!”

I’m old enough to be an old git!!!!

But it’s nice to put piccies to name – thanks to Blossom, Daisydot, Daisy and Val Barlow  …lovely ladies all (Martin’s is a repeat)

this is what an old git looks like….

grey stubble, grease caught up in the face hair, dribble dropping from a permanently open mouth while reading a por no mag, old man’s stains by the trouser zip… 8)

I posted my own selfie here a few pages back, complete with smile and a sort of wink

The real me wears glasses – on my face…and not as nice looking as a blossom

when I was just a tiny little boy
with a hey ho, the wind and the rain
the world to me seemed but a toy
with a hey hey nonny nonny no

(I’m old enough to remember Shaxpear writing that)
