A slight twist on what other people have mentioned is to take a random taxi journey of, say, five quid. Let the driver decide which way to head and take no notice of where you go.
It’s very interesting when you step out of the taxi. You search for clues of where you are and which way to head and this makes you look at places completely differently than you normally would.
I’m sure I know everywhere within a five quid radious pikey round here but I guess its a good idea and eccentric enough for me to try :D

:lol: It’s weird but even familiar places can become quite strange and unusual as you search for clues of your whereabouts. You notice things about places that you haven’t before. I can heartily recommend it. Psychogeographers of the world unite!

I used to like walking around graveyards, haven’t done that for years though, used to read the inscriptions on the gravestones.
