It seems hundreds of madonna fans were unhappy with the sound quality at her recent Wembley Stadium gig.
I had the same problem last Saturday night at the pub during the karaoke.
I’ve told the guy in charge to get a new microphone or I won’t be singing in future. He’s a tightwad with a big fat beerbelly just in case you were wondering.
Apologies to anyone who was there last week.
I also had a sore throat to contend with.

Oh you found that pink leotard then?
So what exactly will you be wearing then?
12 September, 2008 at 11:10 pm #371468The new Wembley is becoming notorious for dreadful sound, particularly if you sit in the upper tiers.
I saw Metallica there last year and the sound was worse than the open air concerts of the 80’s at Monsters of Rock (2 amp speakers in a field!).
Doesn’t suprise me in the least that many people werent happy

Mary,
for £150 I’d expect a lot more than watching her sing.
If you know what I mean. The microphone at the karaoke must be worth a fiver if that.
Like you say the best ones are expensive and it just depends how good a set up you want i suppose.I remember Diana Ross storming off stage once because they expected her to sing with a shyte mic.
My karaoke favourites would be Young At Heart, It’s Now or Never and Up on The Roof.
What about you?12 September, 2008 at 11:54 pm #371472I can’t believe…….
