Unfortunately we could only draw 2-2 with Slovenia earlier today, so just missed out on a play-off spot. There’s always 2022
Hopefully I will get the chance to see Scotland at one more World Cup before I die lolWill still be good to watch England in it, though the team needs to do much better than they are doing now. G’luck also to N. Ireland in the play-offs, and later tonight is going to be a cracking game between Wales & R. Ireland.

Tell me about it lol, we threw away the 3 points then with that late Kane goal, we also screwed up before that too, just not good enough, anyways we would not get out the group stages even if we had qualified…

Are you really :), what sort of match are you trying to get a ticket for, would be nice to get one for the later stages so your then guaranteed to see a good team like Germany or someone. I don’t fancy this Qatar world cup either, I was reading on the BBC that it could get changed to England but don’t know how true this is, what a stupid idea having it in such a warm place where the fans and players will probably not even enjoy it as much… They obviously paid good bribe money to win hosting it :)

Too true king how on earth did Doha get that? backhanders political back scratching the country simply has no tradition of football il be going to a group game king anyone one of 3 I can get a ticket for get rid of southgate now get that ex Chelsea boss in carlo ancelotti if we want to get beyond the group stages king.

Poor Slovakia, they are the unlucky team who did finish 2nd but don’t make it into the play-offs.
I agree with you, Southgate is just doing the same as the rest, England have so much potential but you just know if things do not change they will go to Russia, maybe get a few 1-0 wins and a draw, just qualify from a easy group, and then be totally embarrassed when they come up against someone decent like Brazil or Germany, or dare I say, the mighty Iceland (again) :)
I very much doubt Southgate is going to be replaced though, not this late on. They will have it in their mind to give him the chance in Russia and if poor then he’s out.
