I’ve just watched this on BBC1, all about a residential care home and some secret filming done by someones daughter in her mums bedroom, and how 5 of the different care staff treated her badly, one was actually arrested and charged,got a measley 18 months, had that been a child i’m bloody sure he would have got more, he was seen/ taped treating her very roughly and slapping her 6 times in 7 minutes, once round the face and head.
It was an awful thing to watch to see someones elderly mother being treated the way they did, was distressing for me to watch , god knows how the daughter felt.
How can people treat people like this, truly disgusted by the film and indeed the actions taken since, really isn’t good enough. The care home is still open but being monitored”apparently”.
:evil:I listened about the very uncaring person ( GRRR…..18 Months…!!! ) ) on the car radio on the way to visit freinds in Nottm yesterday. I watched the first 15 mins of the prog, but that was enough. More legal action , I hope, will follow those shown in the part of the prog I watched and others. It really is, well it was, beyond belief these incidents. Now it seems to becoming everyday news :evil:
Yep Poli it is sick, over the past couple of years over here there has been reports done on care homes where people where being mistreated.
Sick is too light of a word to use for these people.
