Interestingly though I heard on the news today that the 15 year old father of the child has already been charged with rape not underage sex- this, I assume (in my limited knowledge of scottish law) means the act was not consensual

i think the Raped charge is because she was under the influence of drink.Plus she’s under 13.. which im sure.. but don’t quote me under 13 its rape charges.. … Slayer.

Kids are growing up far too quickly these days – it’s a sad fact. :(

I was at a loss for words when I heard this story, but there was one just the other day which is even worse (if you can imagine tht something could be):

Police have arrested a 37-year-old man after an 11-year-old girl gave birth to a baby boy.

The young girl went into labour at Hillingdon Hospital in west London on May 5.

She and her baby have been taken into the care of Hillingdon Borough Council, a spokesman for the local authority said.

They are now both the subject of care proceedings, he added.

The girl, who is thought to be from Africa, had gone to the hospital complaining of stomach pains but went into labour as she sat on the toilet, The Sun reported.

A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said officers arrested the 37-year-old man at a house in Uxbridge, west London.

He has been been bailed to return to a west London police station in July while officers from the force’s child abuse team continue their investigation.

i sometimes think my daughter is to childish for her age but shes only 11 and im sure she’ll grow up as soon as she gets to secondary school in sept :roll:

Looks like this kid is yet another one failed by our social services system. Looks like it will do full circle and in say 12 more years the childs child will be pregnant and it will be seen as the norm within this family. The poor girl knows no different seeing the example she has been set. Its very sad that things happen this way.
