what would you complain about in the pub??

part of football is going on about how the ref was against you (only when you get beat though) and saying things like

    “we shouldof had a penalty”
    “he was miles offside”

its not a good thing having diving and cheating but it definitely spices up a conversation on football

if it where replays for everything we would have nothing to moan about

Thats not football, thats business that associates itself around football.

Its a shame when we feel its a good thing to moan…i’d rather being saying, hey tell ya what, it was a good job the fourth official gave us that penalty, else we’d have lost, and our main rivals would’ve been giving us stick for the next two months, cheers everyone…or, thank fcuk the ref was persuaded by the fourth offical to give that goal, i had him to score first at 33/1.

Its about winning or loosing because you deserve too, fairplay, which we all welcome right.

Matty, refs are biased to the bigger clubs, because they dont want fan backlash. If a decision was proven (as best humans can get it), then fans will accept it.

Ok, i bow to the most expressive vision in which you describe your distaste.

Isnt that a contradiction though, you seem bitter about people getting a fair deal for their money, and have jumped on the bandwagon that wants to keep the rules as they are.

    Why wouldn’t tv replays work?

    #250708

never said they would’nt work.. just don’t think the game needs them, it will have more of a negitive effect on the game as it would positive

Then again, what about non-televised/unrecorded matches………. sunday league?

You start at the bottom as a player and sadly the majority stay there. You rely on the officials to oversee things. My youngest is 9 and I have witnessed some really embarrasing mistakes on behalf of the officials not to mention the players!

Would it only be televised games, well yes of course it would. Would it make a difference? Youve realy got me thinking it probably wouldnt :(

Do wrong decisions have a positive or negative effect? Is it ok for a ref to send your team down, lose you a bet etc, if he gets a decision wrong?

a ref decision won’t send your team down, the performance of your team throughout the season will
