    Hee hee,

U and my brother would get along very very well think.

Loves to fish, still does. First time went, caught fish, wanted to scale it, clean it to fry cook. I Cried like baby. He still laughs about it today tells everyone. Begged him to save fish life. Tossed it back. Was dead already.

My mom sewed much, even many of our clothes, so used manicane, think spell it. A form of body..put in my bed one night, woke up to headless mom thought.

Best then always advertised new chocolates. Liked that much back then

My brother gave me x-lax to try. Never told me what used for. Was i sick 3 days. Thought it candy….

Boy did my parents take care of him. Punishment a month…hee

Yes, loved Addams Family too. It…long hair. Grew my hair out once below butt. Wanted to be it..hard to sit. Ha ha…..

True linda….in my opinion as well, can’t beat the oldies.I loved the older American “cop and detective shows” as the characters had great personality and there was much more ” light hearted buddy banter which kept it entertaining. I find today that it’s all very serious. Not that i’m not serious as a person just that’s what i like in a show.

C.S.I was a ground breaking show. Set a whole new standard for detection on T.V. I enjoyed N.C.I.S when it came along later more as it split the balance between seriousness and humor. What i am saying here is that every one’s different….some people like every thing to be serious……others like every thing to be funny. I can take both equally but merge way more on the happier side of things.

Mind you……..i respect people like surgeons and para medics because one has to have serious mental focus to do what they do although they can become quite cold in personality due to what they have to deal with on a day to day basis.

It was ages ago I gave up on that, I think right after season 3. Who knows though, once it is actually complete if I find myself bored I may return to it one day.
I don’t remember Starsky & Hutch all that much, maybe that was just slightly behind my time or I just don’t remember it. Growing up I was watching Chips, Knight Rider, things like that, The A-Team was by far my favourite :)

Oh…when did you give up on TWD? Season 8 starts fairly soon. Criminal Minds has started it’s 13th season. Fantastic show. Armchair thriller used to scare me lol. Did you watch Starsky and Hutch? Or am I giving my age away lol. The Sweeney was another favourite with the late great John Thaw.

A Team is back on T.V now. Saw it in the T.V listings yesterday. lol It was a great show. I always liked the show down when they got trapped in an empty barn some where and came flying out with some amazing four wheeled, all terrain vehicle with immense firing power that some how never seemed to hurt any one. LOL man..those were the days…

Back on as repeats or an actual new TV show? It was cool when they made super amazing stuff from just a few screws and some tools lol, I love it when a plan comes together :)

I watched that Louis Theroux show on iPlayer yesterday, it was really good. It’s not so much people who are addicted to painkillers, but more how they originally got hooked on painkillers and are all now taking heroin. Some of the events in it are quite tragic with people over-dosing etc, and there was quite a nice girl who lives with a guy, but he is abusive to her however she stays with him simply because he gives her her daily fix of drugs. As expected, Louis did his usual interview style with all the people.

I felt unclean after watching the BBC1 programme on the Russian Revolution last night.

I wasn’t expecting very serious analysis, but what I got was 3 characters hamming it up as Lenin, Trotsky and Stalin, playing up to the sneering innuendo and fictitious speculation of creeps like Simon Sebag Montefiore and Orlando Figes.

Tariq Ali’s poor apologetics and the dreamy philosophising of China Miéville provided a cover for a story more fitting to the underworld of the Nibelungen, with hobgoblins and grotesques plotting for personal power to destroy the world than a balanced account.

Now why are historians like Catherine Merridale sidelined? They avoid the depths of right-wing fantasy (cruder and uglier than the left-wing fantasies I was served up in my younger days) dished up last night. Reminded me of the 90’s – ugh!!
