30 January, 2006 at 2:55 pm #151448Well done Catty and all you out there who are giving up Smoking..In the past I have given up but always started again,, Last time it was a choice of either kill my Ex or have a fag…needless to say I had a fag… BUT this time I hope I have given up for good (well I`m trying very hard) I havent had a ciggie for over a week and Honestly do not want one..I am using the patches….I really have had no cravings (hate the smell of anyone else smoking now). but I hope dont become one of those EX Smokers who moan all the time lol.although B/B says Im already getting there  Anyway all the very best to you all..Take Care Joy
((Just as an after thought….Ido not wear the patches during the night. I tried to at first but found I couldnt sleep very well , and when I did fall asleep I had terrible nightmares, but thats all stopped now)) Good Luck all31 January, 2006 at 3:58 pm #151449awwhh ty – probably sounds silly to most non smokers but your support is greatly appreciated to all us poor souls who are trying to quit (and were stupid enough to get addicted in the first place)!
I have “The Student” supporting me at work, you “nice nutters” in the virtual land of JC and my “three year old nephew” at home.
I’ve also found some hints and tips on a “quit smoking” website http://www.quitnet.com which is useful. For instance i’ve been smoke free for 4 days, 3 hours, 46 mins and 25 seconds, not smoked 83 cigarettes, Saved 15 hours of my life and £20.72 money!!! (but im not counting) !!
31 January, 2006 at 4:04 pm #151450…. you may save enough for that DVD player for the ‘van yet
