Or rather I agree with the opinion of Noam Chomsky and Joseph Stiglitz (google them for their credential) that a post-Brexit Britain will be an economic satellite of the USA.
Don’t bother googling them, their opinions are no more valid than any other ‘expert’ on this topic. The EU negotiated TTIP did create the conditions for an “economic satelite of the USA” in actual reality, what might or might not happens in regards to Brexit in a parrallel universe of guestimates is totally irrelvant.
19 October, 2018 at 9:15 pm #1108175”Yes, entirely my adaptation and opinion, but precious little to do with Trump. I don’t even mention Trump.”
Precious little to do with Trump ? Grow up Scep. The cartoon penned by Matt Groening in 1991 ( which seems to have been removed) was a piss take of the oath of alligience, USA, and it was posted on the thread,’ Trump Glorious Trump ‘ …. Are you seriously going to say it was not misleading as you didn’t mention Trump by name ? …At least admit when youv’e cocked up rather than trying to wriggle off the hook…. Tsk Poor show

19 October, 2018 at 9:24 pm #1108178Yup, it appeared on the US under trump, but its relevance is Trump is tangential. It would apply to the US under Trump opr any successor.
It’s adapted – that’s my right. If i see anything which I think is funny or mildly reellvant, I’ll use it.
What’s the problem?? I’m not trying to hide the date or who wrote it.
I’m making a point about what I think is highly likely to happen about the UK and the USA post-brexit. maybe not – maybe Brexit will see us once agains established as a world economic power, as dreamed of by the right-wing Tories who look to Brit’s facing a short horrible smack followed by us showing what we’re made of once we’ve got rid of all those pesky rules on health and hygiene.
Gerry, you agree with the right-wing Tories? If not, then how do you see the way forward in a world of powerful trading blocs?

Don’t request my opinion to disguise your own ignorance, give an opinion of your own that others can agree with, or not. Your beloved EU have already negotiated a similar trade deal with the USA, TTIP, which you now suggest is “right wing tory” ideology. No consistancy in your own argument. You contradict yourself.

Apply the rules you expect others to follow to yourself.. had anyone else done that you would have said it was misleading , like you did with Morgan and graphgate, but no, not you, your’e allowed to do it because you mean something else entirely that the rest of us thicko’s just don’t get and worse than that you don’t even admit or apologise that even tho ‘thats not what you meant….’ cough , it could have been misleading…..

You’re making it up as you go along.
The EU has not negotiated any deal with Trump. They were negotiating TTIP with Obama, and trump pulled the rug under it. There is no TTIP, I’m glad to say. It would have been a major threat to the NHS, and we should have fought it. But no need now, as we’re leaving.
You reckon a post-Brexit trade deal with the USA won’t be a threat to the NHS? You reckon that Trump doesn’t have his greedy little eyes on Britain’s health service?? All speculation, but once we leave the EU, if we’re not in a Customs Union, then I wouldn’t bet on it.

That’s a weird attack from Fantasy island.
I post a cartoon, explain what it’s about, and am told I’m misleading people????
How have I deliberately misled people? How on earth is it comparable to that pair of scalawags?

Bullshit. France indicated they would veto TTIP long before Trump was elected.
You really are ignorant Sceptical. Truly ignorant. Every issue you raise regarding a trade deal with the USA has already been previously negotiated by the EU over four years and the conclusion TTIP. When the EU do it, it’s good, when “right wing tories” do it, it’s bad.
Bless.

Just like you posted a so called poll from “Panorama” then ducked and dived when Moose Quite rightly called you out on it.
You have previous for your dishonesty.
19 October, 2018 at 9:48 pm #1108187You did not explain what it was about at all !!! until I challenged you on it being misleading which it was ! Now you’ve been rude yet again, I’m either ranting or talking from Fantasy Island. Fine ! End of Talks ! mehhhh…….
