Delusion of grandeur.
A delusion of grandeur is the fixed, false belief that one possesses superior qualities such as genius, fame, omnipotence, or wealth. It is most often a symptom of schizophrenia, but can also be a symptom found in psychotic or bipolar disorders, as well as dementia (such as Alzheimer’s).
People with a delusion of grandeur often have the conviction of having some great but unrecognized talent or insight. They may also believe they have made some important discovery that others don’t understand or appreciate.
Narcissistic personaltyy disorder.
Narcissistic personality disorder is characterized by a long-standing pattern of grandiosity (either in fantasy or actual behavior), an overwhelming need for admiration, and usually a complete lack of empathy toward others. People with this disorder often believe they are of primary importance in everybody’s life or to anyone they meet. While this pattern of behavior may be appropriate for a king in 16th century England, it is generally considered inappropriate for most ordinary people today.
People with narcissistic personality disorder often display snobbish, disdainful, or patronizing attitudes.
21 July, 2018 at 1:25 pm #1100997An archived 2010 article about a country park which welcomed Mr. Mair from the Pathways Day Centre for adults with mental health problems to volunteer in building a “faith garden” reported Mr. Mair as saying: “I can honestly say it has done me more good than all the psychotherapy and medication in the world.
“Many people who suffer from mental illness are socially isolated and disconnected from society, feelings of worthlessness are also common mainly caused by long-term unemployment.
“All these problems are alleviated by doing voluntary work.
“Getting out of the house and meeting new people is a good thing, but more important in my view is doing physically demanding and useful labour.
“When you have finished there is a feeling of achievement which is emotionally rewarding and psychologically fulfilling.
“For people for whom full-time, paid employment is not possible for a variety of reasons, voluntary work offers a socially positive and therapeutic alternative.”
62-year-old Kathleen Cooke told the paper: “I am really shocked. He walked past my house this morning and said hello like he always does… He is just a quiet bloke who keeps himself to himself.
“He is very helpful and he helps local people with their gardens. There is one neighbour who is a bit frail and he keeps her garden tidy. He has helped me cut my hedge a couple of times.
“He has lived here for 40 years and has never been in any trouble and has never caused any trouble. He sometimes used to shout at the local kids if they played too near his house but that is fairly normal.
“I don’t think he belonged to any political party and I never heard him express any views about Europe or anything like that. To us, he was just Tommy, a local bloke we all knew.
Widely quoted local admits he didn’t hear “Britain First”
Local restaurant owner Hicham Ben Abdallah, widely quoted across the media as having claimed Mr. Mair shouted, “Britain First” has told Breitbart London “No, no. I did not hear that”.BREAKING: Maria Eagle has now DELETED her tweet about the “Britain First” claim/shout.
(of course it was deleted)
Eyewitness Quoted Says ‘Did Not Hear’ Alleged ‘Britain First’ Shout
21 July, 2018 at 7:56 pm #1101001Yeeeees…
This we knew from journalistic accounts of the time, well before the trial, and demonstrates sweet nothing. A neighbour thought him ever such a nice man, shocked he killed the local MP. One Muslim witness didn’t hear him cry Britain First (at least one other did, though, didn’t they, Nazi-apologist Gerry??), and the trial’s verdict doesn’t depend on whether he shouted Britain First or not.
There were a lot of journalistic reports at the time of the killing, none of them going beyond very impressionistic accounts..
The important thing is –
Have you anything which would decisively show the trial’s verdict to be wrong????
Here’s your chance, Gerry. Can you take it?
Or is this just another example of jc’s forensics expert in residence [ie bull]
I’m waiting for your stunning coup de grace, if nobody else is daft enough to wait.

18 September, 2018 at 2:52 am #1104006I’m glad that Linda, an ardent Trumpeteer, can see the funny side of this.
Trump can make policy from “the devil’s workhop” (his bedroom) on tweet during “the witching hour” between 3am and 8am all he likes.
He ain’t going to be successfully impeached.

18 September, 2018 at 6:29 am #1104028But we all knew this anyway didn’t we ? Can take years for an impeachment, the Trump opposition can’t afford to wait that long, unless they wanted to go down the ‘sexual deviant’ channel, which they won’t because they know the American Public don’t give a flying fk about extra marital affairs and such like, as proved by Bill.
REALLY REALLY not going thru all this again… same for Brexit, Yes I agree, the people who voted out aren’t getting what they bought in to, but it has to be said, there was a referendum, the country voted out, may sound idealistic but the government as a whole should have got behind the decision, remoaners have done everything they could to block, ( ridiculously hoping for another referendum, lets have 1 a year till we get the right result ), interfere, put petty obstacles in place, undermine the public, etc etc and are at least 50% to blame for the fk up it has actually become, out of sheer bitterness at losing the vote. So much for politicians wanting the best for the British Public. Yes yes I know certain people will go into great detail and specifics with counter claims etc etc, but at the end of the day the vote was Leave !! Politicians are there to serve the people and should have respected the decision and come together to do what is best for the country as a whole, ( hahaha as if ) instead of, what we have seen on here, arguing why the ‘ref’ got it wrong for 18 bleeding months.
Saying no more on it. Yes, its a mess, Yes both sides are to blame, the remoaners more so for being such petty poor losers . Yes it bores the pants off people. End of.
18 September, 2018 at 10:19 am #1104035Well, no, impeachment doesn’t take years.
Pretty soon, they’ll have enough material on Trump to launch an impeachment pretty quickly, and it could be done within a short period of time.
But it won’t be, because the political will isn’t there. The Democrats want to, but they need a majority in the Senate to do it – a big majority(two thirds). They’re likely to get a majority in the House in November, and if they want to they can initiate an impeachment, but they can’t win it. The Republicans impeached Clinton but couldn’t win for the same reason.
You’re entitled to your own opinion on Brexit, and nobody’s making you post on it. But some people in the country are more than interested in it. It’s the issue of the moment, and will be for quite some time, whatever happens. The next few months could be momentous imho.
18 September, 2018 at 11:14 am #1104054Some how i doubt it very much sceppers……too many other problems too face for the next few months…..and of course….political people normally have about 7-8 months of the year on holiday…..
Problem i find is that people who live 2 near politics are like can’t see the wood for the trees sort of thing…..
Funny thing……never hear the Royal Family declaring their political allegancies……guess they just take the money at the end of the day…LMAO RATF PML tOL
