The blatant hypocrisy of all the vitriol being directed towards Trump whilst the likes of Obama were doing similar things is both laughable and indicative of the mindset of the pan bashers on the marches.
I assume that is the same note made by Gerry (‘Corbyn for Prime Minster’) earlier in this thread.

I am no fan of Obama – I was warning friends about him from the moment he was running for president back in 2008.
But that is alt.Right propaganda to draw attention away from the policy of separating children from their parents and putting them in cages made by Trump, and withdrawn after a massive outrage swept across the many decent and human people who live in the United States.
Scep i not care how u receive a guest to your country. I do reject, resent, hate, when comments made about certain policies and those who speak loudest not live here, or take fact known as truth.
As I know, yes Clinton spent much time at colleges encouraging new voters to vote for her, as well as Obama. Obama and wife did say those age voters, voted the least.

It’s not “propaganda”, it’s stone cold fact which you seem unable to deal with or answer lapsing into more generic rhetoric about labels you glibly throw out unable to offer anything of any substance to anything you write.
He is just not worth responding to, no substance to anything he types these days. A wind up merchant who provokes a reaction so he can preach from his pulpit about how superior he is.

Drac, I take you seriously. I know that a lot of people who like Trump, many Americans, don’t like his uncouth, vulgar manner. But they like his politics. When you say that you have a negative opinion of Trump, my guess is that it’s his uncouth manner. That’s because you’ve often supported breitbart, the main alt.Right voice. So do you now regard yourself as having a negative opinion of alt.Right? Or is it just Trump’s manner?
I dislike bother Trump’s manner and politics. He is engaging in protectionism, which I disagee with. And I think is agressive pursuit of tarrifs risks damaging the global ecconomy.
I’ve never supported the alt right, I disagree with them on every subject I have ever discussed with them.
I also don’t like Breitbart, I only use them as a source when nobody else reports on a story.

Simple folks..I don’t care about personality polls, rather what benefits the whole for the good of many. This President promises while on campaign trail and while in office, best seen in 30 years in my opinion. Others promises, words and paper been not on target. Hey who perfect these days?
Listening to fox news other higher standards of media, as in our Country and your’s personality issues for Trump. Many complimented his business ability. Protestors I listen too more worried about state of affairs and your leaders approach to resolve. So protesters used this opportunity to spew make statement.
I apply stirring up trouble those called persuasive speakers. Draw in crowds for best interest suiting them. Not the good for all. But for certain kind in which benefits are eventually for them…..not the whole of the people.
So that it in bottom of nut shell.
Please let not the next thread be religion. I may need to confess my sins. Lol. X

You really don’t read carefully, do you? Like Gerry the Lefty (‘Corbyn for Prime Minister’)*, you throw out stuff which says the opposite of what you claim it says.
In this case, the alt.Right propaganda tries to cover it up, but read carefully.
The photo to the right shows families in 2018 gathered together in an unpleasant US detention centre (the UK ones are also unpleasant). This Trump policy is in line with Obama policy.
However, the protest comes from the separation of children from their parents, with the children being sent hundreds of miles away or detained in frightening conditions without their mum and dad. This is not shown in the photo to the right.
More importantly, the photo to the left shows two young girls in 2014 sleeping in the same unpleasant facilities. The trouble is that the article itself says that the children were separated from other children (NOT their parents) due to age and gender differences.
That should give some game away, but if not chase the link in the third paragraph in blue, stating Obama era border facilities. When you get through the alt.Right rhetoric, you get to the hard facts. These children were unaccompanied by adults, fleeing from the violence in Central America.
You can rightly criticise the conditions in which children are detained in US camps, but you can’t claim that Trump is merely carrying on Obama’s policies. That is an outright lie. It’s not cold fact at all – the opposite.
The separation of children from their parents was a Trump, not an Obama, policy. The revulsion felt across America, and teh world, was a major element in fuelling the hundreds of thousands of people who turned out to protest against this monster fro around the country.
Typical alt.Right propaganda, aimed at people who don’t want to read the facts.
Really, it didn’t take me long to find out these lies and distortions. You just don’t want to look.

West Virginia voted for Trump. They’re miners, once they’ve decided something they stick loyally to it. Highly likely they’ll vote for Trump next time. Cruel lies they are told from a rich man who really doesn’t care about them any more than he cared about the Scottish people forced out of their living in Turnberry to make way for his golf course.

What has Linda’s ‘dark time’ in JC got to do with anything ? It kinda smells of ‘don’t disagree with me . Have you forgotten I was the one that helped you through your dark time here’ Really odd thing to say on a debate about Donald Trump…..in my opinion….
I’m not surprised that much though. Linda you are entitled to voice your opinions as much as anyone and you shouldn’t have emotional blackmail used to sway those opinions. Friends who cannot accept others different views are not friends at all.
Goodness scep. I still not abandoned our friendship. U think opinions or your comments would would provide upset as I think u know me well enough. I reading ur comments. Understand them. Not changed your ideas, nor mine. We still bang heads in politics, but not friendship, really. Maybe for u, not me.
I hated clinton..He a wimp. Now think hard will u. Coal mines have been dried up so to speak in areas u speak of. Other forms or ways to gain energy or use. Think about it. Clinton promised miners employment, other jobs..helpful..But not supplied real help, did nothing. Obama did this to degree. Free education, degrees in other fields. Opened other opportunities to advance in a career more solid. Helpful for welfare and families..many miners also became ill. Have been for years.. insurance companies not pay health care benefits due to mining industries illnesses. Just like insurance companies not help with cancer. Long term illnesses. They call this.
